Massachusetts Suppression Hearing - MA Motion
to Suppress
A suppression hearing is an opportunity
for you attorney to file a motion to suppress, if he or she feels your
rights have been violated, and the evidence against you should be
suppressed. There are a variety of legal grounds on which to file such
a motion. The police are often guilty of illegal search and seizure,
so it's often possible to get a case dismissed without ever taking it
to trial. It's even a good idea to file a motion to suppress
even when there is little chance of winning, since helpful information
may come out during the hearing that can strengthen your case at
trial.
If you are facing a criminal charge in
Massachusetts, and feel that your rights may have been violated and
need a criminal suppression hearing, call me now at my office in
Dedham, MA at (781)326-2700, or my Brockton office to
schedule your free first appointment now.
By calling, you have nothing to lose.
I'll be happy to talk with you and discuss your case before you decide
if you want to hire me. Defending people accused of crimes is what I
do for a living. Call to set up a free consultation now.
Sincerely,
Elliot Savitz, Attorney at Law
