Don't let a Massachusetts Criminal Charge Ruin
your Life!
Charged with Operating on a Suspended License or
other Criminal Motor Vehicle Charge in Massachusetts?
Being arrested on an Operating on a Suspended License charge is a
difficult and humiliating experience, and I sympathize with what you
are going through. In many cases, a person may not have been aware
that their license was under suspension. If you've received a few
speeding tickets that you haven't paid, and maybe you've moved so
the registry paperwork never caught up with you, I'm sure you were
shocked to find yourself being arrested or summons to court on a
criminal charge.
Driving on a suspended license may not sound like a serious
offense, but it is a criminal charge and must be taking seriously. A
guilty plea or verdict on the Massachusetts criminal charge of
operating on a suspended license carries with it potentially serious
penalties which depend on the reason your license was originally
suspended. The penalty may include fines of up to $10,000, and 60
days to 2 1/2 years in jail.

cause to stop the vehicle in the first place.
Strategies vary widely from case to case, so please call me to
