Burglary
A Massachusetts burglary charge can have very serious consequences. For unarmed burglary, penalties can go up to 20 years in prison. If you are convicted as a repeat offender, the minimum sentence is 5 years in prison. An armed burglary conviction carries a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison.
There are a number of possible legal defense strategies in a burglary case, but it’s important to get a criminal defense lawyer on the case right away, to preserve all legal defense options.
